Me, Myself, and I

i am giant are a newly formed band based in London consisting of multi-platinum selling artists, Shelton Woolright, Paul Matthews and Ed Martin.

i am giant play edgy, modern rock with groove. Vocalist Ed Martin delivers big hooks and big choruses with his powerful, soul influenced melodies.

Comparable contemporaries include Muse, Foo Fighters, Radiohead, Oceansize, A Perfect Circle and Rage Against the Machine.

Drummer Shelton Woolright is formerly from acclaimed Triple Platinum selling band "Blindspott" (EMI), the only band in New Zealand music history to have both their debut and follow up albums enter the charts at number 1.
With massive sold out tours and headlining slots at festivals playing to crowds of up to 80,000 people through South East Asia, Japan and Australia, they have become New Zealand's most successful Rock band to date and in the process have shared the bill alongside major international bands including Metallica, Linkin Park, Red Hot Chilli Peppers, Muse, The Used and Taking Back Sunday.

Bassist Paul Matthews is formerly from double platinum selling band, "Tadpole"(EMI/Antenna), and more recently, bass player for popular NZ band "Stylus"(Wildside). Paul is also one of NZ's hottest young producer/engineers, with credits including Platinum and Gold sales, a number 1 NZ album chart, number 1 NZ singles chart and a number of top 10's and top 40's.

Vocalist Ed Martin is formerly of pop prog-rock band "Volume" and has worked as a Vocalist with the likes of The Artful Dodger, Craig David, Bruno Ellingham (producer for Katie Tunstall, Elbow and New Order) and Mark Hil. Volume played a number of shows around the UK including opening slots for Snow Patrol and Oceansize.

i am giant are aiming to hit the airwaves in 2009, and establish themselves on the international touring circuit. With significant record industry, major label and international touring experience way beyond their years, the band are well equipped to make an impact locally and internationally.
